Realtek ALC889 High Definition on ASUS Mobo

I recently bought a P6X58D Premium Socket 1366 X58 ATX Motherboard but I'm not sure what the problem is at the moment my speakers tend to squeek at times I believe the CPU is is most active. I'm assuming its my old speakers that I've had over 10 years now but they are 2.1 Surround made by Creative labs!

Do you think it's time I get new speakers or is something I can fix to save me some money?

You can go into sound properties and test the sound at a different khz setting

I ended buying new speakers.
