Splitting a Cat 5 cable

Hello, I am wondering if some one could help me

I currently have one Cat6 cable into a room, I would like to be able to access this 1 cable from 2 devices (xbox, pc) do they make splitters for networking cable or would a hub be my best option?

If it's a dorm, to share the internet, a router would be the best bet.

You can also use a computer with two network cards.

I'm not sure how u are set up, cause if you were given a static IP then u need the router, if it's Dynamic IPs then a switch would do ya.
