Hello, I am a casual gamer playing games such as Diablo 3, Minecraft and World of Warcraft and have perviously just built my new budget rig (£400). I have been getting really nice framerates in all of the games apart from WoW, I am only getting 40FPS in areas where I should be getting much more. I have read up on some forums and other people have done a simple CPU overclock and have terminated all issues completely. Is there any way I could overclock my AMD Phenom II x4 965 3.4GHz with the STOCK Cooler? Currently at Idle my temps sit at about 37C. Would this kill my CPU or will it provide a noticeable performance increase without the risk of damaging any components. Also, how would I overclock the 965, through the BIOS or a third party program. Thanks alot, sorry if it's a silly question.

Specs:
Case - CM Storm Enforcer
Mobo - M5A78L-M/USB3
CPU - AMD Phenom II x4 965 3.5GHz
GPU - XFX Radeon HD 6950 1GB
RAM - Corsair Vengeance 1600MHz 8GB 9-9-9-24
Stock Heatsink and 1x200mm intake and 1x120mm exhaust.
Thanks. :)

I wouldn't overclock with your stock cooler. Get a after market heatsink. DO NOT ATTEMPT without a aftermarket heatsink. The one that comes with the CPU is for standard use.
