Hello,

Quick pick - E7500 with 4mb DDR3 1066 or E8400 with 2mb DDR2 800? Business computer(multiple basic apps) - Both options are same price.

E8400. for most business apps, the performance gains between the DDR2 and DDR3 are almost negligible. The higher cache and FSB are going to be more beneficial in most cases for you.
Also give you the advantage of Virtualization (actually comes in handy every now and then, especially if you want to use XP Mode on Win 7)
