Quick pick - E7500 with 4mb DDR3 1066 or E8400 with 2mb DDR2 800? Business computer(multiple basic apps) - Both options are same price.

The 775 socket motherboard won't fully utilize the DDR3 memory. You're much better off going with the E8400/DDR2.

For similar price, you could get an AMD phenom II 955
