For comparison, here's the "build day" results on the 2600k in Son No. 3's box (Thermalright Silver Arrow Cooler) upstairs. The 2600k w. HT enabled runs about 5C hotter than the 2500k

Stock 51,53, 53, 51 (1.224) LLC = Auto
4.0 Ghz 52, 54, 55, 52 (1.016-1.024) LLC = Auto
4.2 GHz 54, 56, 57, 55 (1.256 - 1.264) LLC = Auto
4.4 Ghz 56, 60, 60, 57 (1.280 - 1.288) LLC = Auto
4.6 Ghz 62, 66, 68, 65 (1.360 - 1.368) LLC = High
4.8 Ghz 71, 77, 79, 72 (1.408 - 1.416) LLC =Ultra High*

* That was build day, since been able to drop temps via tweaking about 4C.....turning off HT drops 7C at 4.8 Ghz.

Here's the one to get ... you can do it then ...

http://www.guru3d.com/article/asus-geforce-gtx-670-dire...

Reference Speed = 915 Mhz / Boost Clock = 980 MHz / Memory Clock = 6008 MHz
Factory OC = 1058 MHz / Boost Clock = 1137 MHz / Memory Clock = 6008 MHz
Reviewer's OC = 1108 MHz / Boost Clock = 1280 MHz / Memory Clock = 6958 MHz

That's a 31% OC on the clock and 16% on the memory

Jack this is very interesting information!

How much testing have you done regarding the additional temperatures HT brings to your end results?

And have you done any additional benchmark testing like say 3DM11 to see what CPU gains happen with HT enabled and disabled?

I'm more interested in your direct discoveries than some other review and such as that?
