Hello,
I've done some research and I'm trying some overclocking at the moment and I need some help with NB and HT rates: which one should be bigger and how big should NB multiplayer be?

My hardware:
CPU: Phenom II x6 1055T with 14X multiplier
Cooler: Cooling Master Hyper212+
Mobo: ASUS M5A78L
RAM: Kingston ValueRam 3x2GB 1333MHz
PSU:Corsair 500W CX
GPU: AMD HD6870

I have done done this so far:
Memory clock set to 533
Set CnQ and C1E off from BIOS
Set Turbo Core off
Tried HT 220MHz clock with HT @ 9X -> 3080MHz and HT link speed at 1980MHz

Is 3.5GHz possible with my PSU?
What rates you would suggest for me in NB multiplier?
How about voltages?

First let me ask. what frequency are you going for?, i just went straight to 4ghz on my 980 yesterday without changing the voltage or load line calibrations. But then again, i have one of the best AMD motherboards out there

I'm looking forward to 3.5GHz at max. If that is possible with my cooling and PSU?

I'm running my 1045t at 3.4ghz and a lesser cooler.

Here are my settings:

Frequency: 3401.6
ref*multi: 252*13.5
CPU voltage: 1.344 @ full load (Using a -0.075v negative offset to keep temps down)
CPU-NB: auto
nb frequency: 2519.8
NB volts: auto
RAM: 16GB 1343 9-9-9-24 1.5v
Motherboard: Gigabyte 990FXA-UD3 rev 1.1
Cooling: Coolermaster Hyper TX3 (w/2 92mm fans) +5 120mm case fans.
OS: 7 64-bit

Thanks, This helped me a lot! I'm still wondering how much my HT Link Speed should be? Should it be lower or higher than 2000MHz if I can't set it to 2000MHz with my ref?

I try to keep mine as close to 2000 as I can. Mine is sitting at 2016 with my current settings.
