Hi guys,

is this monitor have enough of a resolution to take advantage of 2 4870x2's?
I was told by an ati rep that If I cant go with a 30" lcd that a resolution of 1920xeither 1200 or 1080 will be enough to tap into the power of both cards..

Do you currently already have these 2 cards? If not and you are looking to buy, I would look at the 58xx series or 5970. If you already have them, read on.

Yeah, really a 30" is what you want to take advantage. Or a 3 monitor setup. I'd at least get a 1920x1200 display. But that is alot of GPU power man.

Well it depends on the games you play. If your a big crysis fan then that monitor will be able to fully use the power of two 4870x2s I currently have a 1920x1200 monitor on gtx 285 sli and it runs all the games great my system can play games at 2550x1600 but i dont need that high....I would say go with that monitor it will use the 2 4870x2 fine

I play crysis, batman, fear 2, nhl 09, fallout, red faction guerliia ..in short, I play mostly 3d shooters..mostly..on and re5..

which model do you guys recommend for that res of 1920x1200?the one I have the link too?

I think crysis is my favorite game to date..I liked far cry, the original, but thislast one is terrible as far as story is concerned..

to answer a previous question, the two 4870x2's are in my system I got as a gift back in july..
