SanDisk Cruzer 16GB (USB) problem

My sandisk 16 GB flash drive only shows icon to safely remove hardware from my computer but nothing to show how to backup files when I insert it in the USB drive of my windows XP computer. How can I bring up a box to allow me to backup to the flashdrive?

How about simply copying the files you want to backup and then pasting them on your 16GB Sandisk USB Drive by double clicking on Drive letter in My Computer.

I will give that a try. When I plug the sandisk in my laptop it comes up with a box that lets me drag & drop files I want to copy, but on my desktop nothing happens
