Gateway wont boot

Hello,
I have a gateway, I replaced the PSU, when you push the power button the switch light is blue and the fans attempt to spin but do not keep runniing. The green light on the moterboard is on. I have also removed and replaced the RAM

Sounds like a motherboard issue.

Thanks for the the check list. I did do everything that was revelant to my situation. I thought it was the board but wanted my suspicions confirmed. The machine is not worth any more time or money.
