Intel Turbo Boost Technology

I've just watched a video on youtube about the turbo boost tech on the i5 and i7 cpus.

WHen building a PC and browsing through the Mobos I notice some are specified with
Supported CPU Technologies: Supports Intel Turbo Boost Technology

Does it mean not all intel i7/i5 mobos are ready to take advantage of the technology?

Specifically, I was interested in building a new system using Gigabytes Mobos but none of them mentioned about Supporting Intel Turbo Boost Tech... does that mean it simply won't?

The technology is in the CPU, not on the motherboard.

Turbo Boost works just fine on Gigabyte motherboards. Listing support for the technology is just a marketing thing.
