Motherboard boots then hangs up

Had close lighting strike while computer was off and motherboard beeped once.
Checked hard drive in different computer and booted up fine, I also replaced memory with original stick no luck.
Any ideas?

PSU ok? Any "burned" odors from the PSU or the motherboard? Any evidence of burned power connectors: the 20 or 24-pin motherboard connector? The 4 or 8-pin CPU power connector? Any leaking or burned caps on the motherboard?

No odors or visible damage, starts to boot but will not get to windows boot up.
Will not boot from CD drive either.
