Poor picture running my xbox through pc hd monitor problem fix

Please help pulling my hair out with this one I`m running my Xbox 360 through my HD pc monitor tried all settings on the Xbox360..but the image is very poor..can someone put me out of my misery..I`m using a HDMI cable

Are you using the HDMI cable or the Component/composit cable form your xbox to your monitor?
