Ehh, I'm iffy on that mobo. I had one instance where the board would not accept the RAM (mind you, this was RAM my client picked out from THEIR list). But other than that, I had no problems getting a high/stable overclock.
I highly recommend paying the extra ~$20 for a 5770 instead; '70 is the (way) better bang for the buck.
Which g.skill ram did you have in mind? These are pretty sweethttp://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16820231318&cm_re=g.skill_eco-_-20-231-318-_-Product
I'd also pick a spinpoint f3 over caviar blackhttp://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16822152181&cm_re=spinpoint_f3-_-22-152-181-_-Product
Also, any of the brands gkay recommended are great. I personally prefer corsair & seasonic; ocz psu are extremely cheap without sacrificing much quality.
