Hotmail as default in xp

Hello, i have had hotmail as my email but now i cant send or receive emails using hotmail , i have switched to talktalk which is my broadband provider and can send and receive using them but they are not as good as hotmail as i cant block unwanted emails, with talktalk i get all the junk mail i had blocked when using hotmail how can i uninstall hotmail and reinstall it as my default ..thanks brad

In your web browser (ie Internet explorer) go to the website http://www.hotmail.com
once there, log in with your username and password. click the NEW button and send yourself a test email. it should appear in your inbox.
