Which Nvidia card can match the power of 2 EVGA GTX Core 216's ?

So I have a GeForce GTX 260 Core 216, and I was thinking of selling it to upgrade to a GTX 285. Right now the GTX 285 is the most expensive card I can get, But I was wondering should I just get another Core 216 and SLI them ? I'd definitely save money but how about performance can two of these beat 1 285 ? Help me out here thanks.

2 GTX 260s should outperform a single GTX 285.

The two gtx260 are more powerful than the gtx285. They would be closer to gtx295.

Given you have a 260, another makes the most sense.....the 295 would be $100 more than 2 of those....the GTX 295 ~ tw0 275's

A single GTX295 can outperform two 260 sp 216s at stock speeds. Of course if you overclock the 260s the picture changes. Sure you can try and overclock the 295 as well, but you won't get nearly as far.

if ure looking for value, and ure mobo and PSU support it, just get another GTX 260.

2 GTX 260's certainly outperform a single GTX 285, and are only about 8% less than even a GTX 295.

so, it depends on what you want.

Are you kidding me ? I never knew two gtx 260's can even come close to a 295. Hell i'd take anything thats close to a 295. Guess i've made up my mind im definitely going for a 2nd gtx 260.
