Hello,
I am a complete novice here!! and I'm interested in overclocking my m3720.
Details:
CPU - Q8300
Motherboard - Packard Bell MCP73PVT-PM
Ram - DDR2, 4GB
Is the motherboard locked or are there simply no options to change PSB in the BIOS on this motherboard?

PSB? do you perhaps mean FSB? lol

i doubt Packard Bell unlocks their bioses, but if its unlocked, be aware that its also gonna raise other frequencies (biggest one being the ram) so your gonna have to compensate for that also

Very likely the BIOS is locked. Only a few high end purpose built gaming models from Dell at least allow for overclocking. I'm not sure if Packard Bell ever even built a high end gaming computer.
