Need help hooking up HDD/Optical Drive

Almost finished with my first build, I only need to connect a few more things, but I'm totally stumped on how to connect the HDD/optical drive. All these sata cables have me confused. Can anyone please walk me through this? Or better yet, could anybody direct me to a walkthrough on youtube?

Connect the sata data cable (sata port on mobo to drive) and sata power (PSU sata power to drive).

Very easy. They even have the "L" shape connector so that you can't plug other things to it or plug it wrong.
