Here the challenge... I'm looking to purchase a Levovo W701 laptop for photo editing. While it is expensive, I'd still like to get the most bang for the buck.
I'm planning on the core i7-720QM processor.

Of the following memory choices, which would you do?
2 GB PC3-8500 DDR3 SDRAM 1067MHz SODIMM Memory (1 DIMM)
3 GB PC3-8500 DDR3 SDRAM 1067MHz SODIMM Memory (2 DIMM) [add $40.00]
4 GB PC3-8500 DDR3 SDRAM 1067MHz SODIMM Memory (2 DIMM) [add $85.00]
4 GB PC3-10600 DDR3 SDRAM 1333MHz SODIMM Memory (1 DIMM) [add $215.00]
8 GB PC3-8500 DDR3 SDRAM 1067MHz SODIMM Memory (4 DIMM) [add $255.00]
8 GB PC3-10600 DDR3 SDRAM 1333MHz SODIMM Memory (2 DIMM) [add $515.00]
16 GB PC3-10600 DDR3 SDRAM 1333MHz SODIMM Memory (4 DIMM) [add $1,150.00]

The other option I suppose would be to get the base memory and buy my own from newegg and install it myself. I have no problems doing this except it may cause havoc with the warranty.

Let me know what you all think.
Thanks, Quinn

Hmmm... no responses. I guess its because it is a bit of an odd question.
Let me put it in simpler terms: For the intended work. Photoshop, Lightroom, and some architectural stuff (potentially using all at the same time), Would you rather 4 GB of PC3-10600 or 8GB PC3-8500 since they are about the same price?
