I am currently building my first water cooled system.
My specs are as follows.
Crosshair V Formula MB
AMD 8150 CPU
Corsair Vengeance RAM 32Ghz
2 x EK 400 Res'
2 x Phobya DC12-400 pumps
Koolance RAM-33 waterblocks
Koolance CPU waterblock
2 x EK-FC7970 waterblocks
2 x Asus 7970 GPU's in crossfire
Koolance 240mm Rad.
Koolance 280mm Rad.
Koolance NB & Molex waterblock Koolance SB waterblock
Am wondering then what is my best option for monitoring temps and controlling all this. Any advice would be greatly appreciated.

Are those 7970's DCII's? you should mod universal blocks onto them, not spoil them with fullcovers :)
uni's are cheaper and can be carried over to your next card upgrade too
quite a few fancontrollers are equipped with sensors, and you can get inline sensors to monitor water temps, or mod a sensor to get it in the water,
I bough a couple of usb sensors, one does room temp and the other is modded into one of my resses. you can see it at the back,
