Abit code 50

Hello,
my abit AN8 starts up but hangs at post with code 50 usb problem if I remove the usb mouse it is fine until I plug it in again when the system freezes this is the same with usb k/b so it seems there is a fault with the controller or sockets does anyone know if this is fixable or is the board destined to the bin??

sounds like your usb shorted out.you may need to get a wireless mouse and keyboard .
