Help me please

Hi all i bought a GA-MA78G-DS3H mobo with an AMD Phenom X3 Triple Core 8650 2.3 Ghz,Asus 9500gt 1gb ddr2 PCiE -E graphics card. OCZ 8gb ddr2 1066mhz Gold memory, OCZ Stealth Xtream 500w power supply.
I asked when i bought these items if they would work well together told yes but not true.
System hangs on second boot screen just under 4th memory module with a blinking curser,have not been able to do much about this because i have been fighting cancer since i have bought these items so i have not had much chance to work on this problem anybody please help.

Try booting the computer with just one stick of ram. See if that helps.
If one of your sticks of ram is bad you can check it with memtest86+.

Hi tried with all sticks of memory but just blinks under 1st memory slot now could it be a dicky mobo,first time with Gigabyte should have stayed with MSI as this is the only mobos i have used in the past.
