I'm currently using PassMark to run benchmark tests on notebooks. But I've noticed that the HDD doesn't give me the results I need.
Often, I'll have computers that I'm sure the HDD is bad on and PassMark will show that the HDD is good. But then if I run WD's DLG HDD test or SeaTools, it tells me the sectors are bad.
But, maybe PassMark wasn't designed to test the sectors or it does it's testing in a different way.
Either way, I need a method to accurately the HDD in Windows. But I need a way to automate it.
Any ideas, guys?
