Getting emachine out of sleep mode

I read your comments about going into the control panel, but I am not sure how to go to Bios. Do I have to go to Bios at all.

Not sure if you are referring to a previous topic or what. To get to your Bios you need to press the correct key before your system completely boots up. Somewhere on the screen it should say (key) System Information or (key) Setup. It is usually a "F" key but can also be "Delete" or the "ESC" keys. Although if you mean keeping your system from going to sleep, you change this by going to the control panel it will be under power options, not in the Bios.
