Hey guys got a gigabyte MOBO thats got the 3300 on board graphics.

When putting res. on 1920x1080 it doesnt fill up screen unless I use ati catalyst to overscan it.

Tried to play crysis doesnt come close to going to 1920x1080 and if it make it go there it is impossible to even like move the mouse without it freezing. I can play crysis demo on low settings fine at low res. and medium also at low res. but i cant seem to even hardly play cod 4 without lag no matter what. Is this normal...?

*Getting a 5770 soon, but I want to know more about my situation.

THANKS!

Any that didn't work at 1920x1080. The main point I'm trying to say is that the 3300 has 40 'shaders' (I think) versus you new 5770's 800 and extremely limited bandwidth/memory amounts. It cannot play modern games much above 1280x1024, if even at that.
Onboard graphics has nowhere near enough processing power or dedicated ram (if it has any) to be even close to performing those tasks. A 5770 should do nicely though. I'd suggest waiting until then to do any serious Crysis playing.
