hi,
my pc doesn't shut down by itself, every time i manually switching off it....
OS is windows xp and i formatted the pc for 3 times, still the problem persists...
im having a licenced kaspersky antivirus in my pc...

please help me to fix this problem...

Eliminate some of the startup items (msconfig, startup Tab), boot then shutdown. If you still cannot shutdown, continue to eliminate & shutdown until you find the culprit causing the problem. If you were able to shutdown the 1st time, the problem is in the remaining programs.

Inability to shutdown is usually caused by something that is not releasing memory, allowing shutdown to proceed to conclusion.
