PCIe 2.0 and 2.1

OK, so I am buiöding a new gamer system with a Powercolor HD5750. The only problem being that my motherboard says it only has a PCIe2.0 slot but the GFX-card says it needs a 2.1. Would the system still work as it is or do I have to get a different motherboard?

dont worry . All pci express are backward compatible. same speed nothing new from 2.0. even the most demanding graphics card cant use all that speed from pci express 1.0.

Yep, it is fine. you could even run it in a PCI-E 1 slot if needed.
