An interesting read at Xbit about Mercury's views on the adoption of DX11 hardware, not the API itself;

Limited detail, but sofar the hardware side is correct with faster introduction of end-to-end lineup than before, but that doesn't mean quick adoption of the API for games itself, but the incread install base becomes a driver for games, as well, as seen once DX10 hardware started becoming more common, but that took almost a whole year to reach the same levels.

Interesting how it still comes down to TSMC's inability to deliver. :pfff: 

It's kind of a puff piece, with little hard data, just sound logic.

It's all about fitting 11 in '10 :wahoo:

Yeah, it's amazing how much it's affected. Both the GPU side and the normal DDR2 prices.
