What are you using your 5.25" drive bays for?

I've got five 5.25" drive bays on my mid tower case (silverstone ft01) I use exactly one of them for an optical drive. There are some wires crammed into another.

Is anyone using more than two of them? For anything useful?

You could put a fan or media controller in them....

How about some cooling fans?

Liquid cooling system?

Hot-swap - SATA disk caddy?

or maybe just a second optical drive so you can do direct disc-disc copies or read and write at the same time.

with an old case I cut the covers up, and put a fan behind them...

watercooling system works there, audio panel etc

I have three Antec 900 cases. So 6 of 9 external bays are tied up with hard drive bays and fans. 1 of the other three has an optical drive in it.

I use the 5.25 drive bays for an optical drive, a multi-card reader, and for cooling using a 4-in-3 bay device with a 120mm intake fan.

Hmm, mounting hard drives up there make the most sense to me, also the fan seems like a good idea.
