Hi
I have 4 Procurve 2510-24 switches which I am about to install into a hotel to provide VoIP and internet access. Unfortunately I am not too good with VLANs and was wondering if someone could offer some advice please.
One switch will be at the headend with the router and telephone system connected to it. In effect I need half the ports on each of the 4 switches to be on one big VLAN (for telephones), and the remaining ports on each switch, each to be on individual VLANs so that each client is isolated (for security) but able to share the internet connection.
I hope this makes sense and would be grateful for your help.
Many thanks
Tom.
