Can I install and play a game on an external HDD?

Hello,I just bought a M11X, the space is a bit limited for me (750GB) so I was wondering if I bought a Mybook if I could install and run games of it without killing the HDD (Read and Write Usage).Thanks!

If I read the specs correctly, you have USB 3.0 ports. With a good hard drive in a USB 3.0 enclosure, at a theoretical 400 MB/s, will run fast enough that your load times won't suffer.

I would not try this with USB 2.0. Be sure that you are getting 3.0 transfer speeds; run some sort of disk speed test against the external device.
