i can buy i7-940 same price as i7-920 is heatsink and cooler fan the same or do i need to purchase a new one?

yeah it stayed the same from an i7 920 to a i7 940. it works aslong as its socket 1366

hmmm a jetway fan, thats something you dont see everyday! To be honest the jetway i7 mobo isn't too great, try looking at this if you are on a budget:

GIGABYTE GA-EX58-UD3R LGA 1366 Intel X58 ATX Intel Motherboard

Foxconn FlamingBlade LGA 1366 Intel X58 ATX Intel Motherboard (only has 3 memory slots, but there is no need for 12 gigs anyway)

jetway is cheap rubbish usually - stick to ASUS or GIGABYTE

My advice, try to avoid ebay when buying computer parts
