How good of a deal is that?

XFX GTX260s were selling for $159.99 at TigerDirect, free shipping about a month ago.

4870 1GBs perform the same, and sell for $150.

The GTX260s are an ok deal...I definitely wouldn't pay more than $160 for them since you can get a much better 4890 (equal to a GTX275) for about $180.

Not very since you can get a better ATI Radeon HD 4890 for only about 10 USD more, or a little less performance from a cheaper 5770 that has dx 11 and other features.

I had both the HD 4870 and now a GTX 260 216shader.

My experience with both cards is similar. They perform similarily. Only difference is he HD 4870 ran way hotter than my GTX 260. It shot up to 98celsius one time. Highest my 260gtx is 75celsius.
