Hd 5970 & Dell XPS 8000

Dell is replacing my XPS600 with a Studio XPS 8000 but due to their warranty replacement deal they are loading a GT220 in it. Can anyone tell me if the ATI Radeon 5970 will fit into this case? Will the PSU have enough juice to power it?

Assuming no front fan fan and all metal casing being infinitely thing, you have 12.15" of room for a video card/motherboard. The video card is 12.16" exactly.
