after using a usb drive on a p.c. does any of that information get left behind?

yes and just want to know how secure that is, saving information from the p.c. to a usb drive. Even if the pc doesn't automatically save a back up of the sub files are there 'thumbnails' or cookies or bits of data left behind.

lol did you have some porn on your flash drive and did you plug it into the school computer?

In MOST cases, computers will not automatically store data from a flash drive. But as you have not given us any background information I can't be certain, hence my useless post above.

lol no to the porn. I was using a friends computer and downloaded some maybe not so legal financial information from a website to my usb and wondered if his pc ever got a thorough scanning if it would be picked up.
