Access to compaq bios

Hello,i have a presario 1909,ihave added a sata drive but bios control is mimimum. Is there away to access more options in the bios as currently i cant tweak much

the drive and other facilities are running at default values. It recognises its ina sata socket but not seeing all the heads or transfer modes. i dont want to overclock just optimise settings. thanx

try a bios update from the compaq website.
annoyingly, bios' are very limited with functionality. if you are able to change the default values, normally it is the U/D keys or the enter key. if nothing happens then you are not meant to change the values.
