Hi Everyone,

I have an odd issue that I was wondering if some of you experts could help me with. I have a Dell XPS M1530 Laptop that came with a Matshita BD-RE UJ-225S drive. Well in the last few months I have installed Windows 7 Ultimate and now I am having some strange issues. Basically, windows will recognize that there is a drive and even bios will recognize there is a drive. The thing is that when I put in a CD/DVD/BD and try to load it says "Please Insert Disc". I have tried to load like a Windows disc via startup to see if that would work but nothing. I have tried a few things and was wondering what may be another step before having to replace the entire drive.

1. Uninstalled and Reinstalled the Drive via Device Manager
2. Installed New Drivers
3. Tried the age old tried and true upper and lower filter fix
4. I have just disassembled the entire computer to try and check the cable and i disconnected and reconnected the cable

So at this point I am kind of lost. Any help at all would be greatly appreciated.
