Need help deciding on parts


SYSTEM USAGE FROM MOST TO LEAST IMPORTANT: gaming, internet, usual things

PARTS NOT REQUIRED: do not need a monitor, keyboard, mouse or OS

PREFERRED WEBSITE(S) FOR PARTS: prefer newegg, i get charged tax on tigerdirect just an fyi
PARTS PREFERENCES: by brand or type no preference really, just leaning amd due to my price range.

OVERCLOCKING: Yes Maybe SLI OR CROSSFIRE: Maybe if i upgrade my monitor and x8x8 is ok with 5770


ADDITIONAL COMMENTS: any suggestions would be nice, biggest thing i need some opinions on is the power supply and case as I found 2 combos on newegg right now that seem pretty good.

  1. I really like my Antec 900 and dont care for the lunchboxy look of the storm scout. If you travel alot the handles on the scout are probably worth it.

    Coolermaster Hyper 212 is a good cooler that is also inexpensive and fits everything.
  2. Yeah the Cooler Master Hyper 212+ is getting quite a few buzz lately.

    Your build so far looks very good, you really did your research. Of the 2 cases and PSUs you picked out, I would definitely go for the Antec.
  3. i have that mobo and the cooler master cooler... it seems its going to block my 2 ram slots...
