Internet Keeps Going out

okay it has been about two days now and I'm about two seconds away from breaking something =). Okay Well my problem is obviously My Internet keeps going out...ALOT! for the past two days i've haven't been able to stay connected for more that an hour without being DCed a hundred times. (Seriously) I figured I wait it out...WRONG! I'm done waiting and unfortunately i don't know anything about internet/networking. For the past couple times my Internet has gone out (i dont know if this helps) my father has stayed connected even tho his is right next to damn thing and my brothers computer has Wireless on it and it stays connected. So I'm the only one Has this Problem I'm 75% sure its my Router/modem because if it was my cord it would usually would just stay offline...that being said im gonna loose my mind if this doesnt get fixed in the few hours so pls help...reply if need more detailed info

Are you on wireless, are you connecting via the same router as your father/brother ?
