Screen gone white

i have just built a computer with a gigabyte ma790x-ud4p motherboard 4 gig ram geforce gt graghics card dual core 64 x2 cpu and running vista was running fine but now when i let the screen go blank and touch the mouse to switch on the screen is white can someone help.

Need some more details. Such as the exact type of RAM, graphic card, CPU, monitor type, etc.

RAM is 2x 2gb ddr2 800 Graphics card GE Force XFX cpu amd 64x2 dual core 4200 monitor DELL
