What SATA-3 self-encrypting drives are available out there?

Will ST33000650NS's encryption features function on a board like ASUS P8Z68 DELUXE/GEN3 or GIGABYTE GA-Z68XP-UD5? How do you activate them? Do they appear as an option in bios?
 
There are very very few ssd's with SED. The few that do have SED are designed for government and corporate clients. They are not designed for gamers and enthusiasts.
