My new builds power supply

My OCZ ModXStream 600w power supply seems to be making the highest pitch noise when the pc is NOT turned on, As soon as i flick the power switch to the power supply it tones down then stops.

The pc's working good and stable but i kinda want to know if this is going to be a persistent problem.

You've got bad capacitors. Only way to fix it is to RMA it, or throw it out.

I mean send it back to OCZ if it's still under warranty.

If you got it from Newegg and it's under 30 days, you can exchange it, no questions asked.

OCZ is slowing falling to the bottom of my list of reliable brands.
I've had 3 sets of ram and a Fatal1ty PSU failed on my within the past 4 months. All the products
were less than a year old.

I've had a look at a couple of different sites with people with the same series of power supply, Seems like a normal thing one of the moderators on the OCZ forum assured him that it was mostly nothing.


EDIT:

I've concluded that this is just a fault of the "StealthXStream" series of PSU's from OCZ from looking at various forums.
If worst comes to worse and the power supply fails i have a warranty on it so ill just get it RMA'd.
