I currently have the m4a79xtd evo and I'm not too happy with the quality of the on board sound, so I'm looking to install a decent sound card. I had an older card from my last computer, but it doesn't exactly fit in any of the pci slots. It would have to go in upside down to fit. So now I'm asking around before I just buy a card to make sure this doesn't happen again.

Great sound cards for the price the Forte is slighty better then the Bravura.
The Forte has the same chips as Creative's most expensive card.
Auzentech also doesn't have crap drivers like Creative.
All the same features plus improved ones like headphone amp and upgradeable opamps.
I own the Forte and the improvement over my Audigy 2-ZS and ALC889A is quite obvious.

These cards will operate in any slot on your mobo.
I hope you have good speakers or else it's a waste though.
