Cpu ratio setting for amd X2 250

I have a Zotac Mini ITX MB and the cpu ratio setting is on auto, the cpu is 3.0 GHz. My question can I just set ratio at the 3000 level or is there more to it then that. Thanks

What are you talking about? From the sounds of it, it is already at "the 3000 level". 3GHz=3000MHz. This is the default speed of the 250.

usually 200mhz fsb so 2 *15 = 30 or 200 * 15 = 3000
so it's 15
