So soon i'm building a computer, and i want to have some knowledge on its overclocking.
I'm gonna use a corsair H60 closed liquid cooler kit, with the intel i5 3570k, are there any recommendations on what Ghz i should put it on as well as its voltage? and should i use the motherboard (p8z77 pro's) auto overclocking?
Also, there is an intel i5 2500k at the same price as the i5 3570k, though i hear that 2500k has better oc potential... which should i get *as i said before, at the same price???*

Go with the hyper 212 EVO, it's cheaper and outperforms the H60.

@aumuffin. Rly? Cool... I really only wanna OC to 4.4 Ghz, can the hyper 212 evo do that and if it can can you give me recommended voltage for it?

That's not true. Look at the tom's hardware cooling benchmarks and you clearly see that the H60 outperforms the evo.

Yep it can, REMEMBER not every chip is the same. SO you might be able to hit the same clocks at a lower voltage, but your friend's chip may not!

do you think 1.42 sounds good or should i go lower to about 1.3-1.35?

Now what are the price differences? What are the temperature differences? Is it worth it? No.

So do you think at 4.4 Ghz with voltage at 1.276 gonna be good?
