Iomega external harddrive not recognized CODE 43

I have just purchased a new Lenova all-in-one Idea Centre PC and love it. However, my Iomega external hard drive won't work. I've checked in Devices and it shows as "Unknown Device". The device drivers are (apparently) up-to-date. I've tried unplugging and reconnecting, switching off the drive, re-booting etc. Error Code is 43 if that helps anyone.

OK everyone - my smart husband has just sorted the problem by using a faster USB lead which he found.
