Having some issues with a brand-new card and brand-new card reader

Hello,
I recently (within a week) bought an SDHC card for my camera. I then discovered my computers native card slots don't take SDHC, so I went and purchased a Tagrus card reader (http://www.targusdigital.com/products.asp?product_id=100017&dept_id=100015&parent_id=

Whenever I insert it into any USB port, I get the error "Please insert a disk into Removable Disk (K

The camera seems to take pictures fine and save them onto the card. Any suggestions about the card reader?

I have tried putting the SDHC card in before, and after, still nothing.
