Getting Windows XP driver to work in Windows 7

Firstly I'd like to say Hello everyone! I'm new and I have a problem =)

I'm trying to setup dual monitors with a rather old video card on Windows 7, its an ATI Rage 128Pro PCI card to be exact. the interesting thing is that whether the drivers work or not seems to be completely dependent on which Video adapter I set to primary in the BIOS (PCI or Onboard.) If I set the primary to PCI the video drivers work flawlessly despite being built for XP but the onboard isn't even detected, which I believe is normal. However, if I set the primary to the Onboard adapter the drivers no longer work, the card is detected but disabled and I can't enable it.

Normally I'd have given up by now but the fact that the drivers work when the PCI card is set to Primary in the BIOS has me wondering if there's a work around or if I'm missing something.

Thanks in advance!
