Computer error at start up to check cpu fan what to do?

Hello,
When I turned on my laptop i kept getting an error msg saying "Turn off sytem and check cpu fan!" How do i go about doing this?

If under warranty, contact tech support. If not, carefully remove all of the screws necessary to take peek inside. There are two common failures related to that message: 1. Insufficient power to the fan connector on the motherboard or 2. The fan itself has internal failure and isn't spinning. Either way your laptop isn't booting properly because of a heat-related failure.

Please provide more information about your laptop. Is it still under warranty?
