Hello, community members.

Seeing as you all seem to know many things about graphics cards, I am hoping to have an issue solved.

First off, some computer information of mine.

I am using a Dell Vostro 1520 with an Intel Core 2 Duo P7570 2.26 GHz processor,4 GB RAM, an NVIDIA GeForce 9300M GS graphics card, running Windows 7 Ultimate.

As you may or may not already know from my graphics card, it isn't the best coming to gaming/heavy graphics. I wish to change that via getting an external graphics "card" (I'm unsure if I'm misusing the word) for the laptop. I suppose I should include my ports on this laptop, no?

1 Security cable slot
1 IEEE 1394 connector
1 8-in-1 card reader slot
1 CD/DVD Drive (if it's considered a port, per se)
2 audio connectors
4 USB ports
1 VGA Connector
1 ExpressCard/54 slot
1 network connector

I've already found a *potential* solution, which includes, according to its description:

HD-577A-ZNFC
Installation CD with Multi-Language User Guide
Quick Installation Guide
Driver CD Installation Guide
XFX Serial Number Door Hanger
6-pin to 4-pin power cable
CrossFire Bridge
DVI to VGA adapter

My issue:
1. Can I even use external graphics?
2. Can the potential solution work?
3. What is required of potential solutions for me to be able to use them?

Thank you in advance for your valuable aid.
